I tell stories. Often they start at the beginning, but this one is about the end. After 13 years, I am leaving Novo Nordisk. It is with a profound sense of pride and accomplishment that I today say goodbye to the best #employerbranding team in the world – a team that I have had the privilege of building and leading – a team I have come to care deeply about.
Leading the revamp of the Novo Nordisk employer brand life-changing careers incl. visual expression, content/campaign creation, tools & services, capability building and analytics has taught me so much. Building the employer branding agenda from one person with no budget to a fully-fledged high-performing team, operating across the world on some of the most business critical agendas has been an absolute privilege.
I vividly remember starting the build of a digital ecosystem for talent acquisition years ago when Novo Nordisk had 70.000 LinkedIn followers and no aligned digital infrastructure. Today, several SoMe/CMS/ATS/CRM roll-outs later and with millions of followers, the purpose of igniting life-changing careers is still immensely meaningful. I have had the pleasure of working alongside so many fantastic individuals from across the company as I’ve taken on different roles. People that have supported, influenced and shaped me as leader, colleague and human being. I will always be grateful for all of these life-changing relationships.
Going to work every day for Novo Nordisk, striving to make a lasting difference while driving change has been a true source of energy and I will be browsing to identify my next mission. But before I move on to my #nextplay I now have an exciting opportunity to spend some time with my family, friends and network before setting sail again. I really look forward to connecting with all of you out there.
While the work has always been stimulating and interesting – right from when I started as a business IT graduate in 2008 – it is the people that I will miss the most. Novo Nordisk is its people, and I have come to know and respect so many.
Take care and keep driving change the NNWAY!
