Jeg sidder netop nu og skriver på mit speciale som skal afslutte mit uddannelsesforløb på Cand.merc.-linjen Management of Innovation and Business Development. Jeg har valgt at at undersøge virksomhedens interne brug af sociale teknologier som eksempelvis blogs og wikis. Emnet er i rivende udvikling for tiden, hvilket gør det udfordrende at skrive om.

For at guide min skrive proces har jeg udarbejdet en problemformulering som lyder således:

How do Enterprise 2.0* technologies influence the corporate organization in regards to knowledge creation and knowledge management?

*Enterprise 2.0 represents the use of Web 2.0-type concepts and software within an enterprise. Enterprise 2.0 was first used by Andrew P. McAfee of Harvard Business School in the Spring 2006 MIT Sloan Management Review.

Web 2.0 is the network as platform, spanning all connected devices; Web 2.0 applications are those that make the most of the intrinsic advantages of that platform: delivering software as a continually updated service that gets better the more people use it, consuming and remixing data from multiple sources, including individual users, while providing their own data and services in a form that allows remixing by others, creating network effects through an architecture of participation, and going beyond the page metaphor of Web 1.0 to deliver rich user experiences. Copenhagen Consensus 2008 Youth Forum

From the 25th to the 30th of May 2008 a distinguished group of 80 university students from 37 different countries and 200 students from Copenhagen Business School will participate in an exercise to prioritize the most cost efficient solutions to ten of the world’s greatest problems. The Youth Forum represents more than 70 % of the world’s inhabitants. The Youth Forum sessions are open to the public.

During a four day event the Youth Forum will go though the exact same exercise as the distinguished economists at the Expert Panel meeting and answer the question:

If the world would come together and be willing to spend, say, $75 billion additionally over the next five years on improving the state of the world, which solutions would yield the greatest net benefits?

The Youth Forum is a parallel meeting to the Copenhagen Consensus 2008 Expert Panel meeting. The Youth Forum will involve the decision makers and experts of tomorrow and have them pinpoint what has to be done, in order to alleviate the challenges of today.
